On 3/15/24 at 1400Hrs, HFD units along with Greenville and Fairview were responding to the Sprain Brook Parkway for an MVA with injuries. At 1403Hrs HFD dispatch was alerted of an MVA roll over on West Hartsdale Ave (WHA) with reported extrication. Car 2172 and E-169 redirected from the Sprain and joined Car 2171, E-171 and TL-15 who were already responding.

Upon arrival, a two car Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) was located on WHA with two patients. HFD members quickly stabilized both vehicles, stretched a precautionary hand-line, and began extricating one patient from the vehicle.

The patient was quickly extricated and turned over to GPD EMS. Scarsdale and Fairview FDs also covered a third call in the Hartsdale Fire District that occurred at the same time.
