Fellow firefighters, family, and friends gathered outside Hartsdale Fire Headquarters to say goodbye to longtime Hartsdale Firefighter James Conners on Thursday, December 21, 2023, as he proudly exited the firehouse in a "Ceremonial Walkout" to start his retirement.

Mr. Conners joined the department 24 ½ years ago. Prior to working with the HFD, he worked for the Lake Mohegan (NY) Fire District for five years.

We would like to thank "Jimmy" for his service and wish him well in retirement and all his future endeavors... Good Luck, Jimmy!
