At around 1:00pm on September 7, 2017 Hartsdale Engine 169 was dispatched to assist Greenville Fire for a Vehicle into a building in the area of Central Ave and Ardsley Rd. Units arrived on location and assessed the situation. It was determined that the occupants were not injured but they were trapped in the vehicle and needed to be extricated. Firefighters utilized hydraulic extrication tools to remove the door of the vehicle to gain entry to the victims. Greenburgh EMS evaluated the patients after they were extricated from the vehicle. The scene was placed under control and Engine 169 was released by Greenville command.
