Due to the resignation of Commissioner Michael Goldstein, there is currently a vacancy on the Board of Fire Commissioners. As per Fire District law, the current Board will appoint a replacement to serve on the Board for the remainder of this year. An open election would then be held in December to fill the remaining 2 years of this term. A resume and a statement of interest should be included. The Board will then interview all interested candidates at a date to be announced. The deadline for applying for the open position is Wednesday February 8, 2017.
