On August 21, 2012 at 1930hrs the Hartsdale Volunteer Firefighters hosted the Tri-District Volunteer Fire Drill at the Brookfield yard located in Elmsford. Volunteers from the Fairview and Greenville Fire Districts participated. The subject was Car Fires. Firefighters were given several scenarios of engine compartment fires and fully involved car fires which they were required to extinguish. The Drill was supervised by Hartsdale Fire Captains Barry Zezze and Bernie Mahoney. They were assisted by Hartsdale Firefighter Peter Day.
