Unit Citations and a Life Saving Award were handed out at the annual Hartsdale Fire Department Awards Ceremony held at Station 2 on November 9, 2015. Also length of service awards and letters acknowledging members who experienced no sick time during 2014 were issued.
The Life Saving Award was issued to Deputy Chief FJ Spinelli, and Firefighters Chris Mentrasti and Brian Farrell for their actions in helping to revive a patient at Alarm 1272 on September 9, 2015
A Unit Citation was awarded to Captain Tim Mentrasti, and Firefighters, Frank LcCalamita, Paul Liberatore and Andrew Roberto for their actions during their deployment to Buffalo, NY to assist in helping the local fire department in searching structures that were damaged by the heavy snowfall in November 2014.
